The Berry College Campbell School of Business and the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce will host the 28th Business Outlook Conference April 13.
The conference will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Ford Dining Hall, and includes featured speaker Economics Professor Roger Tutterow, of Mercer University. The conference will begin with lunch and is $30 per person or $200 for a corporate table for up to eight people. To guarantee lunch, register by April 1.
Tutterow, one of the Southeast's leading economists, will offer his economic forecast for Georgia and facilitate a panel discussion afterward.
“Giving a projection of the industry is important in this economic time,” said Nancy Mercer, assistant dean and director of M.B.A. Marketing and Admissions of the Campbell School of Business. Among other topics, Tutterow will discuss the economic turnaround, covering issues including housing, jobs and banking.
Tutterow’s analysis of business, economic, and political environments have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Financial Times, and the New York Times. Tutterow, a Georgia native, has a bachelor’s degree in decision science from Berry and serves on the Berry Board of Trustees. In 2003, he was appointed by Gov. Sonny Perdue to serve on the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors. His success in Georgia’s business scene will provide an inside look at the profession.
