ROME, GA. –   “Movies on the Meadow” will feature the Southern classic film Fried Green Tomatoes on Friday, July 9. This event was originally scheduled for Friday, June 25, but was canceled due to inclement weather.

 Gates open at 8 p.m. The movie gets under way at 9. Admission is $5 per car, and concessions will be provided. Please, no alcohol or pets.  In the event of rain, the screening will be moved to Saturday, July 10. If it rains on both dates, the event will be canceled.                 Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum is a popular attraction and the former home of Berry College founder Martha Berry (1865-1942).
