ROME, GA. “Movies on the Meadow,” a summer outdoor film series that offers a family-friendly atmosphere in the shadow of Martha Berry’s famed Oak Hill estate, returns Friday, June 25, with the Southern classic film Fried Green Tomatoes.

 Gates open at 8 p.m. The movie gets under way at 9. Admission is $5 per car, and concessions will be provided. Please, no alcoholic beverages or pets. In the event of rain, the screening will be moved to Saturday, June 26. If it rains on both dates, the event will be canceled.                 Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum is a popular attraction and the former home of Berry College founder Martha Berry (1865-1942).
