Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum are closed until Wednesday, Jan. 11, as workers clear debris from the December storm.

Cleanup started this week as students and staff hauled off trees and limbs from the Dec. 22 storms that hit Rome. The storms, which included a tornado, damaged or downed more than 100 trees causing damage to the museum roof, the Original Cabin and the gift shop. Thankfully no one on the grounds was hurt during the storm. Oak Hill and its adjacent outbuildings did not appear to sustain any damage.
