FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Additional free training session opened to the public
ROME, GA. — The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) has added an additional free training workshop focused on mastering customer service. Stuart "Twitchy" Ellis-Myers, a dramatic model of self-inspiration and determination, will now present two 3-hour workshop on Tuesday, November 8. The morning session will begin at 9am and the afternoon session at 2pm.
"We've had so many tickets picked up for our afternoon session that we thought it was critical to add the morning session," said Lisa Smith, GRCVB executive director. "We want everyone in our community to have the opportunity to attend this inspirational and motivational session."
At the age of 9, Ellis-Myers was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. Despite this handicap, he has become an internationally known and respected speaker on communication leadership, sales and customer relationship management practices that yield measurable results.
"If a man with Tourette Syndrome can become a professional public speaker, what's holding you back?" said Twitchy. "We are going to change the way we do business in Rome and eliminate the status-quo."
The Customer Service Mastery Workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 8 at the Georgia Northwestern Technical College Auditorium. The workshop is designed for every industry in Rome & Floyd County that works with the public: retailers, realtors, front line staff, customer service and managers.
"We've brought Twitchy in to help us overhaul the customer experience across our community," said Smith.
Anyone who lives, works or attends school in Floyd County is encourage to attend.
Tickets to the event are free but required for admission. Tickets are available at the Rome - Floyd Visitor Center located at 402 Civic Center Drive (across from Applebee's).
The event is sponsored by the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Hospitality Association of Rome & Floyd County and Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
