Hill honored by CVB

ROME, GA. — The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) honored longtime board member Vickie Hill for her countless volunteer hours at community events.
Hill, a lifelong Roman, has been on the GRCVB Board of Directors since 2001. Through the years, she has volunteered for dozens of events including Myrtle Hill tours, Haunted on Broad, Civil War commemoration tours, the John Wisdom Wagon Trail and several sporting events including Tour De Georgia.
"Vickie has been a standout member of our board by consistently devoting her time to help develop tourism in this community," said Lisa Smith, GRCVB executive director. "She is a true asset to Rome."
Hill is a mortgage loan originator at Citizens First Bank. She is married to Max Hill and has two children, Casey and Christopher.
