FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CVB invites you to "twitch" yourself to success
ROME, GA. — The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) invites you to "twitch" yourself to success with a free training workshop focused on mastering customer service. Stuart "Twitchy" Ellis-Myers, a dramatic model of self-inspiration and determination, will present a 3-hour workshop on Tuesday, November 8 at 2pm.
At the age of 9, Ellis-Myers was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. Despite this handicap, he has become an internationally known and respected speaker on communication leadership, sales and customer relationship management practices that yield measurable results.
"If a man with Tourette Syndrome can become a professional public speaker, what's holding you back?" said Twitchy. "We are going to change the way we do business in Rome and eliminate the status-quo."
The Customer Service Mastery Workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 8 at the Georgia Northwestern Technical College Auditorium. The workshop is designed for every industry in Rome & Floyd County that works with the public: retailers, realtors, front line staff, customer service and managers.
"We've brought Twitchy in to help us overhaul the customer experience across our community," said Lisa Smith, executive director of the GRCVB. "In order for this event to truly impact our community, we need everyone from the CEO of our largest industries to the servers at our smallest restaurants."
Tickets to the event are free but required for admission. Tickets are available at the Rome - Floyd Visitor Center located at 402 Civic Center Drive (across from Applebee's).
The event is sponsored by the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Hospitality Association of Rome & Floyd County and Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
For more information or tickets, call the visitor center at 706.295.5576. For more information on Stuart "Twitchy" Ellis-Myers, visit www.ITwitch.com.
