Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum Continues Home School Days

ROME, Ga. –Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum will continue its Home School Days program this spring with sessions scheduled for the second Thursday of every month beginning March 11 and continuing through May. Due to limited space, advance reservations are required for the 10 a.m. programs. For more information or to RSVP, contact Patrice Shannon at (706) 368-6775 or pclonts@berry.edu.

Oak Hill Home School Days is a program designed to enrich educational opportunities for home school students and their families through special exhibition tours, arts, crafts and activities. For March, groups will meet at the Rome Area History Museum and continue to the Chieftains Museum Major Ridge Home. Admission for the day’s events is $9 per guest.

Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum is a popular attraction and the former home of Berry College founder Martha Berry (1865-1942). It is located at the intersection of Georgia Loop 1 and U.S. Highway 27 in Rome, Ga. More information is available via the Web at www.berry.edu/oakhill.
