Tickets are still available for the upcoming Spirits of the Civil War: Downtown Trolley Tours sponsored by the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB).
The tour on the Toonerville Trolley will feature various downtown sites that were significant during the Civil War including Myrtle Hill, the site of Noble Foundry and portions of the Between the Rivers Historic District. Tours begin at 1pm and 2:30pm.
The tours are led by Rome native Vickie Hill who has been a docent for the Where Romans Rest: Myrtle Hill Cemetery Tours for many years.
Tours begin and end at the Rome - Floyd Visitor Center on Jackson Hill near the Rome Civic Center. Limited tickets for each tour are available for $5 per person.
