GRCVB announces hospitality appreciation day
ROME, GA. – The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) has announced plans for a hospitality and tourism industry appreciation day on Monday, May 9.
A part of the celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week, the appreciation day will give employees of hotels, restaurants and attractions a free Toonerville Trolley tour. All attendees will also receive lunch.
"We are rewarding our great members of the hospitality industry with a free lunch, but also trying to keep them educated and informed on the changes in our community by pairing it with a free tour of the town," said Chris Cannon, GRCVB director of communication.
The appreciation day tour and lunch will last from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, departing from the Rome - Floyd Visitor Center.
The tour and lunch are open to all employees of the hospitality and tourism industry. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Rome Floyd Visitor Center by 5pm on Friday, May 6.
