Water Task Force to meet in Rome
ROME, GA. – The Governor’s Water Supply Program Task Force will meet in Rome on Friday, April 29. The meeting is open to the public.
The purpose of the Water Supply Program is to align and mobilize the resources of the state of Georgia to assist local governments with developing new sources of water supply adequate to meet future water demand forecasts.
As directed by executive order, Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) convened a Water Supply Program Task Force that will provide expert guidance in the program's development and implementation.
The meeting will take place in Georgia Highland College’s Heritage Hall in downtown Rome. The finance committee will meet from 8:30a.m. to noon and the technology committee from 1:00p.m. to 4:30p.m.
