The United States Tennis Association has named Rome, Ga. as a Top 10 Finalist for the second annual “Best Tennis Town” contest, a nationwide initiative to find the community that best exemplifies the passion, excitement, spirit and impact that tennis brings to the community.
Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum will be closed July 18-26 so that renovations can be completed on the museum building. Preparations for this work will be ongoing through July 17, during which time the popular landmark will be open but no admission will be charged.
